    Your video is totally incorrect.
    That is not how the issue occurs.


    Curved Clips are actually Incomplete Planchets. The issue is that the stock sheet that is used to cut out blanks sometimes does not progress forward properly. So when the next blanks are cut out from the sheet it cuts to close to the previously punched holes. This is the correct explanation. The blanks are never ever cut the way you explained it!

    Yeah, more study grasshopper! Not much if any is true, I stopped at the Blakesly effect.

    All clips are INCOMPLETE PLANCHET errors. The type of missing metal determines what type of clip it is, curved, straight, ragged and how many there are on a coin.

    Planchets are cut out of a sheet of metal. If the sheet doesn’t advance properly it creates clips.
