Shared images from a FB page.. Damaged Dimes!

    Hi everyone,
    Merry Christmas if I haven't stated it yet.
    We are watching how the Grinch stole Christmas :nailbiting:.. Classic!

    I participate on a Facebook page featuring great and major Mint Errors. It was created and administered by CoinTalk member Joe Cronin.

    Recently one of the members saw a post I created and wanted to know if his Dimes were mint errors, I think he actually believes they are.

    Oh.. I should show the post I created on the FB page..

    It was some Cents struck with magnetic screws and imbedded in them.
    They are owned by Fred Weinberg.
    This was the World's Fair of Money in Philadelphia a few years ago..

    How does something like that make it out of the mint? The one with the screw I mean. The other errors are clearly legit errors that slipped into circulation :troll:
