This post could be on a t-shirt. This plays into another saying we hear on a weekly basis that just drives me up a wall. "There's no evidence" for "X" (name subject). This is supposed to be some profound statement to convince people of something one way or the other but what does it even mean!? I can sit in a chair at home after doing zero research, and claim there's no evidence of anything! It sounds official. I may not know. I could be outright lying, but people accept that as a valuable statement from media outlets, celebs, anybody. There's no evidence to indicate.... Yes, acquiring no evidence requires no effort whether there's evidence or not. The statement is as valuable as graffiti on a bathroom stall.
