    I know zero about paper currency wondering if it is a common thing for serial numbers to not be lined up. IMG_20190225_184636.jpg

    The numeral 1 on the upper serial number is considered a Stuck Serial Number

    It's uncommon and might be worth a premium.

    These stuck digits are very common on $1 bills. There are both "high' and "low" digits. Out of a strap of 100 singles you will usually find two to four of these (at least that is what I find). Unless it is a nice crisp bill, or a very dramatic shift I don't bother keeping them.
