Got this in change a while back. No pics yet, but it's not UNC.

    ANyway, S/N is F00312489*

Did a quick lookup and found it's from a run of 320,000 notes....so i deemed it worth hanging onto.

1-2 years later, looking through my notes, saw it and wondered exactly what it's real value would be. Not interested in selling, just want to know what I have here.

    Real value: $1.00.

Collector value: Varies by individual buyer.

CT inquiries regarding the value of circulated currency finds:
    Endless. ;)

I highly suggest for anyone with questions about currency collecting, serial numbers and the value of the notes they find in circulation to read Heritage Auctions' - Reference page. There are many useful reading materials there that are available for FREE online that can help answer some of the common questions. Primarily, it will help those new to currency to become familiar with grading and condition concerns that are extremely important to currency collectors: Currency Grading Tutorial and U.S. Currency Price Guide.

Be sure to sign up for a Heritage Auction account. It's FREE and registered members can track auctions and reference the Auction Archives to browse past auctions, which allows them to see what has sold, for what prices and the grades those prices realized. Give it a go.
