lI have recently gotten two Series 1957 silver certificates. I bought this one from my boss (somebody paid for their merchandise with it) and found another one that somebody spent and bought it out of the till. This one is in better condition than the other one but it is cool to know that some of these old bills are circulating. My boss found another one a few months ago for a total of 3.

    It's a 1957A bill worth maybe $2.50 or so.

I don't care what they're worth. I'm just amazed that they were in circulation in 2013.

Nice find! I haven't personally found any silver certs anywhere! Red seal legal tenders and FRBNs yes, but not silvers. Luck of the draw, I guess.

Funkee, you've found FRBNs in circ? One of the tellers I know found a NY $10 that was falling apart, but that's the only time I've known of one to come from the wild. I did find a $5 1963 LT once, though.
