At the quick mart I bought a pack of gum and the guy handed me my change. I looked a the bills ($1's) and all three are consecutive, and in crisp condtion. Are they worth anything to a collector?

Keep them for about 20 years, then they probably will be. :)

Keep them. There is no chance that they will ever be worth less than $3 and some chance that they could be worth a lot more to someone someday.

    kendo,
look at it this way.You can walk into almost any bank, preferably your own,and ask for new $1 bills. You can usually get $50 banded packs, all consecutive.Do you think they're worth more than a dollar each?

I started collecting in 1959. I wish I had kept a few crisp uncirculated one dollar and two dollar bills from back then.

Store them in plastic numismatic coin holders to keep them crisp. In a few years, Congress may decide to do away with paper $1 and $2 notes. Then you can say, "I'm glad I did," and not be wishing, "I wish I did."
