Yea I did look them up on the best site option I had and still wasnt sure. My tumor has progressed its getting harder to read. So instead of getting frustrated I was in hipes that someone in my coun family woukd see my thread. Thanks all.
I did know that it was suppose to be on each end but wasnt sure about exceptions to the rule because of pairs of numbers.
That person just seemed a little short, thought my question irritated him is all. I have one more I cant cees to focus in on these ink spots. Are the man or mint made?
The stray ink marks are from a tellers stamp. They were a little off when they stamped the paper strap at the bank. Not an error. Spend it. BTW bank notes are printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), not mint made
Those are from a bank tellers stamp. When a teller counts bills they are wrapped with a paper wrapper. 100 ones gets a paper wrapper stating 100 hundred dollars. The teller is then required to stamp the paper wrapper. Sometimes they miss and the top bill gets ink like this.
The 50 note is cool but not worth anything IMO, if it was on a dollar, I would keep it for sure as it looks cool but its not worth anything. Since its on a 50 and lacks collectability across the board, its a spender for sure. Now, if the 22 at the end were 55, then you would have a little something as it would be a trinary with book ends but still, I wouldn't keep it as it's $50 wrapped up in the note as you can put it towards a $1 50-strap and search for star notes which have more chances of being collectable. The next note is just a bank teller stamp.
Ok I got one for ya... What the heck is this.the ol'man had it in a protective cover. Im completely confused.
