I went to the Commercial Teller at my bank the other day and asked for a strap of one hundred new $1 bills. When I noticed all the "8"s and "6"s in the serial number on the top bill, I took a closer look at all the serial numbers. Seeing that I was only 600 bills away from having a serial number of "86688668", I asked the teller for 6 more straps of $1 bills (hoping that they would be in sequence and she would grab the next 6 straps). She brought me six more straps, but unfortunately none of them were in the sequence of these bills. It would have been sweet because it would have been the best serial number I've found PLUS it would have been in Choice CU condition. Maybe better luck next time!
i go to my 'sell' to bank 3 to 5 times a week. i sell them 200 in 1's, and get 200 in 10's. every few days i get brand new spanking crisp 10 dollar notes. they are all on the last 4 digits of 3088****. i have gotten some notes that were in the 30888*** batch, but nothing yet. I know they just gotta have the 30888803 note, so i will have to keep trying lol
