Serial number sequence question

    In a BEP wrapped package of one hundred notes, how does the sequence run?
    Up or down from the first visible (top) number?
    Does the last digit run up 1234567890 or last digit run down 0987654321?

    The lowest number is on top. So the top note of the first strap would be 00000001, and the bottom note of that strap would be 00000100.
