I know little to nothing about paper money but every time I get some I look through for interesting serial numbers or stars.

This is probably the best I've found so far. Is it good enough to pull a premium?

Thanks for any info you can give me! 5D.jpg

I would say most definitely, yes. That is a very good find and is certainly worth more than face value. I had some good serial number finds yesterday with a CU $1000 brick of ones that start with 28008001. I'm still trying to sort out which ones are keepers.

I agree with NOS, it's sort of a 'stuttering stepladder' note and there are collectors who collect them and a will pay a premium (can't guess how much). And since it's not a $1000 bill you might consider keeping it for yourself.

Thanks for the info everyone! I figured since it wasn't symmetrical or at least 44556677 or something like that then it wouldn't be super nice. I think I will hang onto it since I won't be out anything and it's not in bad condition.

    Thanks again!

Cool serial number and the note looks like it's in great shape.
I'm sure someone would offer more than face if you wanted to list it in the For Sale area of the forum, but I'm guessing not much more than face. Put it in a currency sleeve and keep it.
