Meet my sentimental favorite coin in my collection. I inherited this from my Grandmother. As you all can see at some point it was converted into “jewelry”, I’m assuming after FDR’s gold recall order. But every time I look upon it I smile and think of her. Anyone have a sentimental favorite in their collection.
Nice. Thanks for sharing. My cousin gifted me this seated dime that was etched into a love token. He had it in his possession when he purchased it many years ago. He sadly passed away about 4 years ago.
I got this coin when I was about 12 from my uncle (also collector) who just happened to be the one that got me into coins myself. He brought this back from when he was overseas in the Army fighting WW11.
