Is 190 a decent price for rolls of 90% kennedy halfs?

    Thanks!

Yes I know, but it is the best I have found in my area unfourtunately. I had one dealer offering 140!

That's about 12% back of bid which is pretty good if you're selling. If you're buying, you might be able to haggle a little lower, but not much.

Melt is about 21 times face right now. I'd counter the dealer with 195-200 and see what he says. Make sure that HE knows that you know that melt is around 21 times face.

    EDIT correcting my math

Thanks Chris, I'm seriously concidering letting some silver go today. 190 is only around 30 off of melt (about 12%) which I feel is very fair to both of us. I completely understand that the dealer needs some room for profit and have no problem with that.

Thanks for the fast reply and good advice as always!

That sounds like a plan!, I'll also be watching the market before I head over there, and adjust accordingly. I'm pretty sure he would go for that, when he sees that it was me who was inquiring about the price. I deal with him pretty often and he is a stand up guy.

    Thanks again!
