Selling on eBay with managed payments

In eBay's latest spring seller update they said they were changing the terms of their store subscription so that now sellers will get 1,000 free listings a month for the basic subscription, I believe. This might be enough to make me take the plunge and sign up. But I think you need to have managed payments to get this. While I got an email in January saying I would be told to sign up for managed payments on Jan. 13, that never actually happened. I know other people have talked about switching to managed payments and then not being able to sell coins. So my question is, if I sign up for it, will I be able to sell coins? Can I sign up without being invited to or do I need to wait? I know it's coming and I'm not sure what happened to their rollout.

Technically everyone is supposed to be on it now and you can sell coins now they lifted that restriction. I haven't tried to make any new listings but they aren't canceling any current ones since the switch.

Just make a new checking account for it that you keep the minimum in instead of your everyday one. It'll likely prompt you to signup or should have a message in your account about it, and will have to do somethings in order to complete the process
