I want share a positive selling experience. I decided to part with my CC 50 coin type collection which i completed about 5 years ago after a year of accumulating. I really enjoyed this collection with all its history and diversity. However, its time has come and don't want leave it to my heirs as they would get fleeced if they tried to sell it. Besides, they prefer cash. I sold all 50 coins on Ebay within 5 weeks. They were all either NGC or PCGS slabbed and ranged from MS-61-66. I marketed them with top quality photos, buy it now with no offers accepted, and no returns accepted. They were about 30 different buyers and every transaction was flawless. My return on coin cost was 94%, Ebay, Paypal and Ship & Ins. cost 14%. Bottom line was I got about 80% back. I think that's about as good as it gets for CCs when selling on Ebay at this time. The 20% debit was well worth the pleasure of collecting, researching, and holding these great American coins. Although, I am an Oregonian my favorite CC was (is) the 1936 Bridgeport CT.
