I have cracked out coins from most of the grading companies, but yesterday was my first experience with SEGS. The coin was a T1 SLQ MS62, not an overly expensive coin, so I thought I would use my snips and crack the edges. WOW, the plastic is so soft and durable my huge snips barely made a dent. I then had to use my ultimate crack out device, the dremel. It took me a lot more work than a PCGS/NGC or ICG would have.

    Just some info to share!

    Enjoy your collecting.

I haven't cracked out a SEGS for a long time.
I don't remember whether it caused me trouble or not.
