    1.png 2.png 3.png 4.png I love the history behind coins. I am putting together year sets of the circulating coins of the time. A new set for every major design change, these are the coins that would be in circulation during these years. I started off with my blank set. Yes, I am getting a label maker (any recommendations?).

    Neat!

    The first row should be 1853 - 1856
    And have this Seated Quarter I found metal detecting ;)

    That is a cool idea! And the year set dansco is perfect for this type of project.
    Are you planning to go further with the more modern coins? You might need another whole album though with all the changes (1976 Bicentennial, 1999 State Quarters, 2004/2005/2006 Nickels, 2009 Cents, 2010 Cent, etc....).

    Looks like you are putting together your version of a type set.

    The nice thing about type sets is that you can define them any way you want.
