It’s something able a Seated Liberty coin. The denomination doesn’t matter, neither does the wear. They are still attractive coins. The Half Dollar is great because of its larger size. Here’s a 1865-S half. Worn to AG-3 and still attractive.
Here’s a 1869-S Seated Liberty in better condition, possibly VG-8 or 10. Even though it’s well circulated it has not been abused. They just don’t make coins that look this good nowadays. Isn’t that correct @Randy Abercrombie?
A nice smooth attractive color. Nice example but do you think the obverse has been cleaned? I see some vertical hairlines but they could be from something else. Nevertheless, a very nice S/L half. Bruce
