Im starting to search nickels on a regular basis now. I found one cherrypickers list and thought I would ask if Im missing anything. I keep everything 1959 and older, and know there are some RPMs and such, but Im not concerned about those years. Im concerned about 1960 to date, the ones I dump. This is what Im searching for: 1964d RPM 1964d - a repolished die that the B in E PLURIBUS looks like a D 1990p - missing designers initials (I think its just a worn die but I havent reasearch it yet) 2004p DDO 2005p/d Speared Bison and Ocean View DDR 2009p/d Thx. Yes, anything 1959 and older I keep, its the coins that i dump are the ones im concerned about. I know nickels are not that popular for errors, I just want to make sure im not missing anything 1960 and newer.
Hi. This is the first time I post in this section. Here are a couple of reverses related to 2 coins dated 1964D . There is also a 1969 S Nickle. I hope the 2 D s are repunched, and that the 1969S is of a premium grade. Charles
On my excel spreadsheet, it says that San Francisco minted 3,857,479 nickels for BUSINESS STRIKES in 1982, and no proofs. Is this right or a mistake?
I've got a 1984 Jeff with what looks like a filled die that makes 'CENTS' looks like 'CFNTS'. Is this a recognized variety?
Searching nickels since 2007 and I only finally found one in a customer wrapped roll just yesterday - and a nice AU example with golden/russet toning. Finally completed my from circulation type set of Jeffersons, I have numerous examples of the '39-D, S etc.
