    I was searching and searching, what is this coin, Abila? Jordan? no it is not matching, continue the search....yes found it...yes letter are the same whoooooowww me happy.

    The site you linked to is wonderful and complex. It has links to pages on many other themes including the lighthouse of Alexandria, the 1000th anniversary of Rome, the Greek gods, the provincial coins of Cilicia, coins depicting combatants, etc.

    I agree. I love the lighthouse page. Unfortunately I have only three so far, but a great resource. I have never seen so many pharos coins together at once! Man, I just found out a lot more to collect.

    neato coin!

    that link is great by the way, lots of eye candy. i enjoyed the "philosophers and astronomers" coins and the coins of cilicia with photos of the actual places the coins depict.

    lighthouse coins are great as well!
