Today a man at work presented me with a one gallon zip-lock bag FULL of Wheatbacks and told me I could have them for 20 dollars. Naturally I jumped at the offer, and found not only Wheatbacks from 1909-59 with most mint marks and one obvious 1936 DDO, but three Indian Head cents (1896,1900,1903), a 1916 Mercury dime, a 1913 Barber dime, a 1934 Buffalo nickel, and oddly a 1983 George Washington Half Dollar still in its plastic wrapper. Stuck in there also is was BEAUTIFUL 1943(S) Steel cent that looked like it had never been touched by human hands. I'm not trying to brag just sharing and saying that great stuff can be found anywhere.
I would love to take pictures of some of them for you, but I just don't have the equipment for it. There was also a 1941 that I was curious about, but forgot to mention. It has the normal dark brown patina that a cent of its age would have, but its streaked with a bronze/yellow tone very similar to an avatar that I have seen here.
