For those of you who have the Schwartz-Linquist 8th Edition please turn to Page 234 look at the New York Star notes listed on that page.
The SN# B01744972* (high note listed) these are fairly rare for this Series with only a few known (5-6 by PMG)...I just bought that high serial number note in what I think will come back as a 64-65 PPQ.

I am thrilled...All I need is the Series 1934 Star and this set will be complete regular issues and stars! :kewl:

    Nice job RickieB.

Now when are you going to get that 1928E Funnyback star note? Can I see it first?

    Guy's...

I just sent the funds out yestreday for the note.
As soon as it gets here I will scan it before sending it out for it's plastic casket!

This was a chance occurence as I was talking to the owner, I looked up the Fr# in my book and asked him to confirm the SN. BTW, there is really no added value to the note just because it's the high SN note, just an intrinsic allure at best.
The note has excellent centering (but not gem 66 quality) great color and has the new back for that Series. I suppose you can say right time and right place as it was just put out this week on the web.
From what I am told, this note was put away many years ago and was just recently re-discovered.
    Hummm....fate is funny sometimes huh?

    Regards,
