SBA Wide Rim Find ... I think

    looked through a stack of SBA dollar coins today and believe I found a wide rim /near date variety.
    Thoughts? (Other coin pictured is for comparison purposes)

    Agreed!

    FYI - You need to adjust your white balance for the color correction.

    Yes. One on left is "near date" or "wide rim" but what's up with the copper colors? The strikes too good to be missing both clad layers on each. Is it your pics or are they plated?

    Not sure what's up with the color...the coins are lusterous silver in hand.

    The color is just a white balance issue.

    Anyways, nice find! The 79 Near Date is worth a pretty good premium. Congrats.

    Any thoughts on the coins condition or value? I don't know much about grading these. They seem to sell between 5-15 on eBay.

    Looks to be a high AU. I'd expect somewhere in the $5-$10 range.
