What do you think guys? Should I save this or just let it go....I'm thinking not to bother
saving it because it is PMD so much I can't even see the date....

I'd rid myself of it quickly unless it was a CRH find. If that's the case, then it's kinda fun and sentimental.

I see I've wandered into the CRH forum so I guess that must be the case. If so, cool find, even if it's only worth face value.

I think it's a 1912. Can see "191..." pretty well. That last digit bears some interpretation, but can only be a 0, 1, or 2 if the first three are "191...". And it doesn't look round like a 0. So the coin is a 1911 or 1912 if I'm right, and I lean towards 1912. Too bad the reverse is too rough to check for a mintmark. That would cinch it as a 1912.

I've never found a Liberty nickel in circulation. The ground, yes - detecting - but not in circulation. Congrats. Nasty but neat find.

I like to let those go, and think about how thrilled someone else might be finding it.
Or throw it in the penny change dish in some store.
