Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

Just picked up this 1972 1 Balboa proof, that was minted by the San Francisco Mint. It is in the original bag, and is a clean high grade example. Mintage was approximately 10,000.

Here is my proof set from 1966; also struck at SF. Packaging was identical to the US proof flat pack sets from 1956 to 1964. Also the Balboa was 90 percent silver at the time the US Mint was only making 40% silver half dollars (and no silver dollars) for collectors in the US. Polish_20210103_192117507.jpg

I have a 2 1⁄2-centesimos copper/nickel, 1940 & a silver 1 Balboa, 1947 that saw a bit of circulation (faded lettering) before grandparents brought them home from the Canal. Your set looks museum quality. Very Nice !
