Same Coin, Different Grading Service. WHAT a Difference!

    Let's see if anyone can guess the grade on both of these. I bet it will take 10,000 posts before anyone guesses right. Same coin, one graded by PCGS the other by NGC. Keep in mind the reported mintage of this coin was only 600 pieces. With that in mind, ask yourself how the PCGS coin could show that much die erosion or bag marks in the legends with no marks on the portrait. I'm not convinced the coin is real, though I would have to look at it myself before making any conclusions.

    When you submitted it to the second grading service, did you submit it as a crossover or did you remove it from the holder?

    When you write "same coin" I think "same coin", but those do not appear to be the same coin. Regardless, the lighting for the images is so different that a meaningful comparison may be impossible.

    Pcgs I know this World coins they dis like that.

    I going guess 63 +64
    But photo look 66+*+*
