I have 2 1957 D Lincoln Wheat Peannies both have the bottom Of the "B" on "LIBERTY" FILLED IN BUT THE ONE THAT LOOKS MORE OLDER LOOKS LIKE THERES SOME BACKWARD LETTERS UP BY "TRUST" AND THRUOUT AND ALSO ON THE OBVERSE
Both the B's have what are known as Die Chips.. Very common issue on Cents minted in the 1950's. I have about a dozen in my collection. Everything else you see is normal circulation wear.
If you keep disagreeing us we will stop responding.. There is nothing but damage. I have been looking at and collecting mint errors for over 3 decades my friend.
Here is a lil clearer picture for you to see. Thank you very much hope this works. Otherwise I'll have to get a Camera.
Welcome to CT. There is nothing special going on with this Cent. It's been damaged and damage comes from so many sources in so many ways it can't be explained here. In your opening post you said, "I have 2 1957 D Lincoln Wheat Peannies..." What is a Peannie? On the reverse is the word CENT and that is what they are called, Cents.
I wish I saw this before now.. I was reading through the forum, in my head screaming "back down Jorge, back down!" with all due respect, Jorge. I'm a rookie, with a lot of aquired coins, trust me, these guy's know their stuff.
