Salt river quarter fat distorted lettering

    I have two of that same quarter for comparison. The one on the right side has odd fat lettering with distorted shape IMG_20200625_0002_NEW.jpg

    Have you ever tried to put the thumbs gether with two Left handed gloves. It doesn't work

    Why not post pics of entire coins, oriented in the same position?
    I believe worn dies can produce coins with thicker lettering than fresh dies can.

    This appears to be class 8 doubling. Would need full pictures to be sure.

    You probably know more than I do on the subject and I don't wish to get in to a debate with you but I'm curious as to what made you say it "appears to be class 8 doubling"? (I'll never stop learning).
