I have a bag bursting at the seams with gold dollars. Hundreds of em. I never been an errors or varieties guy. But I keep hearing about this Cheerios buck. I have a litte time on my hands so I am breaking out the magnifiers and studying tail feathers on Sackys...... The typical Sacky eagles tail feathers are rather smooth and nondescript. The way I understand it, the Cheerios buck tail feathers are detailed. Is that about it?

A few years ago I picked up a few of the Cheerios cents in their packaging at a flea market for 50 cents each. They looked really nice from the one side I could see so I decided to include them in a submission to ANACS and they came back MS67. Got $50.00 each for them on the bay. Covered a lot of my costs to submit (on a special).
I hadn’t noticed them before I took that photo. Danged aged eyes of mine. But yeah, that was a nice Sunday surprise.
