I found this small silver coin a couple years ago mixed in with other foreign coins and I haven't been able to ID it until now. I've done some research and figured out that this is a Russian wire kopek, but I am having difficulty narrowing it down to a certain Czar or time period. If anyone here could help me find out more about this coin, it would be greatly appreciated.

It's in Cyrillic and I can't read that. However, I think it's older than 1814. I read somewhere that the reverse says the name of the Czar which it was minted under. Can anybody confirm this and maybe read which Czar it was?

I'll take a look. I wonder if this coin could have been minted while the Russians were under Mongol rule.

The inscription is made in old-Slavic language. We don't use it more than 200 years. The inscription is damaged, but I could read: "great prince .... Michailovich".
The only ruler with the middle name "Michailovich" was tsar Alexei Michailovich (1645-1676).
