A few days ago I saw your UK (or was it Guernsey? Jersey?) euro, now a Russia euro ... time to get real again. :D As a design however it looks neat.

Sure, imagination is even essential for a designer. It's just that, when I read about, say, British or Russian euro coins, my reaction is "why the heck ..." ;)

Now your Italian Regions designs for example are both imaginative and politically realistic. And the Quijote design that Scottishmoney mentioned was better than the comic strip style design that the Spanish Mint actually used for the €2 commem.

    regional italy

the regional coins italy are NOT realistic, is fantasy... my idea is only for a touristic use... I have taken l' idea from the series castles of the Germany.

Yes, I am aware of that - what I wanted to express is: The Italian Regions concept is more realistic in the sense of "could be done". All you/we would have to do is convince the Italian government that this is a good idea ...

I have to agree with Christian your Italy set was quite somethin and your Spanish Don Quijote was so much better than the real thing :hail:
