Run Number

    Sometimes.
    That depends on a number of factors, including exactly how low the number is, what denomination the note is, the condition of the note, etc., etc., etc.

    there are folks who think a note from the 1st run is more valuable then the rest. Im not saying they are wrong - hey everyone can collect anyway they choose right :p - but i look at the total printed number. I think most of the hobby does. Ebay sellers love to promote the low run numbers as they try to hype a note to sell for more. If the first run has 640,000 printed but the total for the series was 5,000,000,000 ... would that note from the 1st run be valuable.. IMHO, no.

    but as always, there are excpetions.. for those, see hontonai's post.
