Anyone else here totally hooked on RPM's and varieties just as much as Full Steppers or do you just like nickels in general?
I just can't get enough RPM's, OMM's and doubled dies. My goal is to have an example of every known variety! I know this to be impossible! I've tried for 20+ years to obtain a set of FS Jeffersons from cherry picking dealers stock at shows, still working on this as well. Varieties are much easier to cherry than FS.

    Nickelman:
    I constantly search for varieties.
So far, among others, I have pulled:
    1) Jeffersons: 1939 DDR (3 pieces)
    2) " 1945 P DDR (2 pieces)
    3) " 1943/2 #3 pieces, including an AU
    Also, some Buffalo varieties.

    I only own 2 nickel rpms. A MS65 1938-D/D Buffalo, and a jefferson D/D. I forget what date.

    Hey Nickelman!
I saw in another thread that you said that you see another coin that you will need to add to you list. Is there any way you could PM me a copy of that list? As you might know I'm working on putting back up the Variety Nickel site and one thing I'm working on is a listing on all of the RPM's and etc.

The problem is Speedy, my list is not written anywhere! I look at all the reference materials such as the RPM book, Wexlers Enc. of Doubled Dies, Cherry Pickers and try to memorize key dates to look at (don't what to show up at a dealers table with all this reference material if that really matters or not) but once in a while I come across something like the 1990D no FS that I hadn't heard of and put it on my "mental" list.
Problem is I often miss place my list. LOL! Sorry!

    Ah....I see what you mean!
Well the good part is that I have the books you listed so my list should be close to what you have!
