i know this will be a simple question for all of you but i'm new at this and have no idea of prices and values of errors yet. while going through pennies yesterday i came across a 1983d rpm.. it's nice but what is the value and also, where can i find a list of rpm values. i tried a few websites but i can't find a general list of the value of rpm's...
    thanks!
oh, here's a pic of it if you want to see it ;)

That looks more like Machine doubling damage then a RPM. Got any more angle shots to look at?

Looks more like Die deterioration then Md you could see the doubling on both sides of the MM

Penidave, could you add a photo of the date also. If the date has similar effect, although it can be much less, it is machine doubling, as it is very flattened. I wouldn't doubt that there is some die deterioration also as Joe says, but I don't think it would account for the extent of the left side of the mint mark as shown. Thanks and nice photo.

Now that i see a different few it looks more like what Jello said Md and yes you could have just Md on the MM, as well as Die deterioration doubling.
