Does anyone know if there is a list that shows all the products the RCM has produced over the years? I can't seem to find one anywhere. I did check the RCM website but could not find a history there. I know were to find info on the circulating coins but not the different sets and non circulating coins. Thanks. PS, this same question could go for the US mint.
I would suggest the following numismatic source for the Royal Canadian Mint: "A Charlton Standard Catalogue--Canadian Coins Volume Two: Collector Issues 3rd edition, 2013" $29.95 per copy. Excellent book.
I saw a fairly good list of RCM products in the Canadian Coin News that a coin dealer gave me at our local coin show last summer. I just downloaded a free sample in PDF format by email a few minutes ago. In the TRENDS section by Sean Isaacs in the issue I got here by download focused on Paper Money but I have a hard copy issue laying around that had RCM commemoratives listed instead, so you might find a copy with those listed. I think the one I have on paper is from late July 2012 somewhere around here. This link may get you a copy just the same ftp://ftp.trajan.ca/download/CCN Sample.pdf Sorry I can't help you otherwise. The annual Canadian Coin Price Guide has a lot listed but I have a real old copy of that by Wiley and Haxby. ( I think ) LATE EDIT: I agree on buying a Charlton book too. The exact one recommended above in onecenter's post. I bought a Charleton Canadian Token Catalogue after it was suggested and forked out the money and it has paid for itself quickly.
Trends, on a rotational basis with other items not in/for general circulation, will have the RCM products, maybe once every 4 issues. Trends covers circulating (or used-to-be circulating coinage) as an add-on at the end, usually a page. You will have to look at that CCN issue to see what is in Trends for that 2-week issue.
