I know there a few Cointalk members from Scotland...so I wondering if you can get these new Jack Nicklaus 5 Pound Commemorative notes directly from the Bank and if so can you provide me with an address or email. I see them on ebay but wondering if there is a way to get them direct.
See http://boards.collectors-society.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=874931&an=0&page=0#874931 for ordering info
I finally got one of these in my collection. My boss gave it to me as a belated Christmas present.I would like to get the Royal College of Surgeons commemorative 5 Pounds as well.I have most of the Royal Bank of Scotland Plc's commemorative banknotes. The only one of the 1 Pound ones is the 1992 European Summit meeting one.Of course,I don't have the Queen Mother commemorative 20 Pounds either. Aidan.
Hmmmm....the address listed is 101 Park Ave, NY, NY.....I will have to walk down there after the holidays and see if I can skip the shipping fees
I have over 300 Scottish notes from ca 1808 to 2002 that I am interested in selling. I lost interest in them three years ago and moved into ancients. You should be able to see some auctions I have here: Scottish Banknote Auctions on AuctionMonster.net And of course there are many many others, but I have a low serial QETQM £20 in a folder and another regular, both Uncirculated.
