New older guy on the block here. This may sound a little off the wall here but excuse for asking. Can anyone tell me what exactly is a Rotated Die on a coin please.

I moved your post here where it would get answers ;)

Simply put, it's a coin where the obv and the rev are not aligned with each other correctly.

When you turn a US coin over, top to bottom, the reverse should be oriented exactly as the obverse was in the horizontal and vertical planes. The center of the top on the rev should be exactly where the center of the top was on the obv in other words.

When it is not, then coin is said to have been struck with a rotated die.

This is not all that unusual. It is quite common in fact. What is unusual is to find examples of these coins that are struck with a rotated die that is greatly out of alignment - more than 15 degrees out. And the farther out of alignment it is, then more unusual it is.
