If you had to choose one or the other to collect, which would you choose, would you choose the Roosevelt dime or the Barber dime?
There was a point in time when I would have said, without a doubt, BARBER DIMES! The Barb in my opinion really is a nice design in higher grades and since we're talking Dimes, they're easily obtainable IN higher grades even on a very small budget. Of the two, Barber Dimes have far more history & rarity, many with mintage's below 500k & the mystery of the missing 1894-S's adds to the fun. PLUS speaking in terms of design, who on earth is depicted on the Roosevelt Dime? It sure doesn't look like the FDR I know. But lately, I've changed my tune, because despite all of it's flaws, few things make me smile bigger than a nice rainbow toned MS Roosie. Next month I'm sure I'll feel differently but until then, it's the Roosevelt Dime for me.
A lot of views, but where are the votes? Come on people, if you had to make a choice, what would it be?
Barber because they're all silver with a design I enjoy more. Pictures of awesome toned Roosevelts are weighing heavy on me because I voted, then scrolled down.
