Roosevelt strike through?

    This first one is a '60-D, I'm wondering if it's a strike through. I hope you can make it out. The second one is the one I posted to US Coins (should have started it here), if anybody has any second opinions on it (looks to me like it was caused by a string). Thanks.

    Hi,
    The 1964 looks to be struck through grease. the other is too small an image to tell anything.

    OK, thanks. Here are a couple more pics. This '64, now, that line is incuse, and the deposit (right field) sure seems to me to be alloy.

    I agree with looks like a pile of grease got there and made a mess of that coins reverse. I like the obverse with the kind of hat on Roosevelt. I've seen that type of hat before somewhere.

    The reverse shows what might be considered a lamination error. It looks like the metal is peeling away a little bit.

    Thanks all. That is metal deposit on that reverse (flame and just left of flame), BTW...
