Roosevelt dime

    I've come across this strange dime, it almost looks like it's frosted and the outer edge looks more like a penny, all copper. It's hard to tell but I think it's 1976 D but I'm not sure.     It took an acid bath. Just damage.

    When the outer Clad Layer is taken away what you have left is the inner copper core.
    We have seen dozens of these types of damaged Clad Coins :yack:

    As stated it's damage PMD ( Post Mint Damage) not a mint error. IMO
