Roosevelt Dime Weak Strike?

    Just found this in a roll it stood out like a sore thumb is this just after mint wear and tear or a weak strike maybe?

    Lol don't make fun its a dime in a cent 2x2 so with only four staples it slides around!

    But I forgot to mention the rim is still raised however on edge its very small probably half the size. Ill take a pic when I get home later.

    My thoughts exactly. Looks like it was struck through grease... BTW, I use 3 staples on oversized 2x2's, and 2 on perfectly sized ones.

    Get ya one of the flat stapling staplers. I use one from Staples, cost about $6 or $8. Staples lie very flat, and very easy to staple.

    Is this error collectable? By that I mean worth anything more than a dime? 11 cents? :)

    This thread is quite funny though, lets just say next time I'm going to crop out the staples :p

    Mecha1166, that sounds a lot better than what I'm doin' and that's crimping them by hand with a flat nosed pliers. Thamks for the heads up.
