Roman Provincial Trajan, AE23, of Tabae, Caria, 5.1g, 24mm

OBV: AY KAI TRAI-ANOC ARIC GER DA, Laureate head right.

REV: (from top right) TABHNWN, Demeter, polos on head, standing left, holding corn-ears, bunch of grapes and sceptre.

REF: SNG Cop 559, Hunter 4.

This is a recent progress on cleaning this coin. At first I did not know what this coin was other than a Roman Provincial. I thought it was maybe Gordian III because of the young appearance. I got some help from Facebook to ID it and it turns out it's Trajan.

Here is the original photo before cleaning. Btw, I decided to change backgrounds for in progress coins so I don't confuse them with others.

I think progress is going well so far.

Looking good. No comment from me on the attribution...I'm at a disadvantage.
