Roman Coin.

    Found this one about two Years ago, on a beach. The Weird thing, is that this roman coin, was found on a beach in Michigan, hence the name MIdigger, anyways, weird how it ended up all the way here. Any estimate on the price would be appreciated.

    Can you give us the diameter and millimeters and a weight? Can you make out any of the text on the obverse?

    All I can tell you with much confidence from the pictures is that it's from the third century AD. I think the emperor is Trajan Decius, though it's hard to tell. It's also probably a sestertius, though we would need information on the size of the coin before we could really tell you that.
