    It's a commemorative coin of Augustus, struck by Tiberius.

    AE As.:

    DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER - Radiated head left
    S.C. - Large altar
    Cohen 228 - R.I.C. (Tiberius) 81

    I agree it appears genuine. I looked at the photos for quite a while since its a better type, and the reverse is in nice shape.
