Selling some various coins from my personal collection to make way for more Republican coins. As always, I'd love to discuss trades for Roman Republic bronze or silver. Payment by Google Wallet or PayPal(FF or G&S+3%). Shipping is $3 within the US for USPS first class or FREE in the US if the pre-shipping total is greater than $100 - International, registered mail, priority, etc. can all be done at-cost, just ask. Thanks for looking!

    1. Nero. AD 54-68. Æ As(28mm, 10.3g). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 65. NERO CAESAR AVG GERM IMP, Bare head right / PACE P R TERRA MARIQ PARTA IANVM CLVSIT, Temple of Janus with closed doors to left hung with garland and latticed window to right, S-C in upper exergue. RIC I 304.

Looking for a Nero portrait at a price that won't bring chaos and destruction to your budget? Look no further! This is the famous "temple of Janus" type relating to his closing of the doors of the temple of Janus which were only closed during times of peace - which of course wasn't common with the Romans! This particular example is a scarcer variety with "SC" below instead of to the left and right of the temple. $70

    2. Septimius Severus, AR denarius(3.08g), 208 AD, Rome mint. SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right / P M TR P X-VI COS III P P, Jupiter standing facing, head turned right, holding thunderbolt in right hand, sceptre in left, cloak wrapped around waist. RSC 502. RIC 216V
Has a crack and some metal issues as you can see in the pictures but otherwise a nice denarius. $28

    3. Cilicia, Korykos, 1st century BC. Æ22mm(6.30 gm). Turreted head of Tyche right; ΔΙ behind / Hermes standing left, holding phiale and caduceus. ΚΩΡΥΚΙΩΤΩΝ to right. SNG Levante 791 (this coin); cf. SNG France 1075; cf. SNG von Aulock 5679.

Own a plate coin from SNG Levante, the catalog of the collection of Eduardo Levante. Fantastic detail and a nice brown patina, only betrayed by the cleaning scratches on the reverse. Ex. CNG 66 lot 549 where it sold for $84 + fees. I'm selling it for only $80
