    Hi. I can clearly recognize the famous wolf suckling Romulus and Remus in this raw coin. There are also a couple of stars. I'm not sure about the name of the Emperor on the obverse. I do enjoy your comments.. Roma O.jpg Roma R.jpg

    it's just Roma on the obverse C7, not an emperor.
    i would be tempted to clean that one up a bit maybe?

    It's a city commemorative like mine, but your looks to be from Cyzicus whereas mine is from Siscia:

    Do you notice that the she- wolf is draped ?

    I do not think it's draped, it just looks like the way the cutter reflected the hair of the beast similar to this one:

    I would be tempted to leave this one uncleaned.

    Personally I wouldn't mind trying to clean that up too. Its not rare or scarce so its a good coin to experiment and learn from.

    My coin weighs only 1.78 g. I managed to clean it a little bit with a soft toothbrush.
