Rolling up some spare change, most banks don't care if you mix in Canadian change in there correct? I live in Maine and see it all the time, so I am thinking its not an issue,

We're close enough to the border that we tend to get Canada cents, and the occassional dime. Our bank's counting machine spits it out and it's given back to us as not depositable.

Theoretically, you are not rolling fifty United States cents (as an example) so in theory the next recipient of the roll can complain about it, and it can be traced back to your account number. With cents, I doubt that this is an issue. Larger denominations, and enough of them, and I think you may be asking for a little trouble.

Thanks, I will just do cents then. I don't want any trouble they have lots of half dollar rolls waiting :)

Around here, the banks no longer require an account number on the wrapper. They say it is not worth the effort. It appears that if you are a customer there is no problem accepting rolled coinage. Might want to check on your bank's policy.

Our bank specifically does NOT want account numbers on the rolls, I imagine because of the possibility of theft of account info.
