Searched a whole box of quarters. Filled some holes in the "America the Beautiful" set. Other than that, picked up one '64d painted red, and one Panamanian quarter. Nothing super exciting.

$40 CWR Cents: 17 Wheats dated 41-58, and 681 coppers

$100 CWR Nickels: 45-P and the 1970 pictured. No idea what's going on with that coin, but thought it looked cool.

    $290 CWR Dimes: Skunk

After hearing someone on hear talk abt asking co-workers for change for cash (copyright pending) on my first day i got a bunch of wheaties, tons of forgeins and even ~10 foreign bills. Not worth much, i can hardy understand them they are mostly from the middle east BUT not 5 min into my coin search:

Before the pics i have a few questions:
#1) Any chance this could be fake?
#2) Approx what color and what grade?

Thanks. Made my day. And i spent more time setting up the cam than i did searching so i am stoked to get back to it.

Found $220 in CWR and $15 in loose halves. Lots of dumps, a few rolls of solid bicentennials. I did find one NIFC in the loose ones, and one 40% '67 in a roll. Not too exciting though.

That'll work occasionally, but if you want to exchange thousands every week it is getting harder to find places to do that.

The head teller at the bank I stopped at yesterday and bought the $300 in MWR halves told me 1 of her tellers had alot of halves. The teller with the halves was off work yesterday, but was working today. This teller had $100 in MWR halves and $100 in CWR halves, and I bought them all. I suspected a dump in the CWRs given the round number, but I was wrong. Nothing in the MWRs, but the CWRs were a hit!:

Congratulations Sam especially the 1970 D, in over 130,000 halves searched I’ve yet to find one.

I try to when I can. But my banks don't have halves very often.

That 70-D is a difficult find indeed! In over a million Halves searched I've only seen 3, and 2 of those were found in the same box!

Mine either and I really dread asking anyone to order them. I think it keeps the piece actually. I'll stick to my boxes of cents that I ask for on occasion.

$750 in MWR halves and $2.50 in loose halves tonight yielded a paltry:

    71S Cu-Ni clad proof and
    ‘87D from the MWRs
    Nothing from the loose.

    Better than nuttin’!

I delivered homemade cookies to my pickup bank, and the ladies loved them :)

I’ll finish the last $250 in MWRs from this batch soon, and pickup 2 more boxes of halves tomorrow.

    Cheers all
