The grocery store in our little town is McClains.
We do the vast majority of our shopping at Wal-Mart or HEB in Livingston. But McClains is close. And I need not make a ton of money because I won't use much fuel getting there and home.
Half the pennies are done. Got enough copper to make a nice roll. And just under half way to another roll copper.

One of my regular tellers at the CU handed over a 1941 quarter this week, too. It's nice when they keep their eyes peeled for me. Back in the day, that would have meant donuts, but the new rules mean all I can actually give her is a thank you.

May not get to the bank until Monday.
A fellow is coming to crawl under our house to fix the AC duct.
We (probably I) have to go get him. And depending on what he finds I may have to go chase a part.

    We'll see.

2 more boxes of cents. Very weak in the wheat department but got a couple more cool finds. 1 wheat total. I've never had so little. BUT I got two Indian heads and a blank zinc planchet.

1955-S in a really nice condition...

The under the house thing happens tomorrow.
Dad and I were going to Lowes and Tractor Supply.
Went to the drive through at the bank.
Got all MWR quarters, nickels and pennies.
Quarters gave a better 98D and a better state.
Also a few states that are being saved for more flips.
Nickels were a bust. Pennies maybe a few rolls today.
Found out they have the duct if we need it.
Got a call from McClains. Have an interview Tuesday.
    Oh how I hope!!!

I bank at a credit union and they are very willing to help. We have an account rep who sits up towards the front and I always go to her instead of the tellers. She knows I'm a collector and never complains when I order boxes.

Just finished a box of cents ($25). I was actually quite disappointed with this box. Came up with only 6 50's-wheats and 5 QE Canadian cents. Best find was a nice VF 1945 wheatie. I've still got to go through and look for double-dies and small dates in the usual suspects which I set aside. I was most surprised that in 2500 cents, I only came across a single S-mint coin.

Picked up a box of cent customer wrapped rolls today. Funny thing was the that all the 20 rolls i searched were copper. 1959-1984 with about 50 1989zinc. Whats so good about 1989 cents. Am i missing something.

Just to let you know the last year of copper cent production was 1982. So anything produced in 1983 and 1984 can not be copper.

Then why do I put every 83 on the scale? There is supposed to be a few copper 83s out there somewhere. Goodnight.

Mighty close, if not there. I'm concerned about the area just to the right of the crack though.
