Box and $80 CWR dimes: Nothing

 

Found one myself in a coin star yesterday walked buy it and said eh what the heck and looked there was one in the reject bin.

 

I've been checking coinstar reject slots since I was a little kid and I've never found silver in 'em. Something like 15 years... lol.

I've found my one and only Mercury dime from circulation in the reject slot of a Coinstar. This was before Coinstar updated their machines (at least out here) telling customers to check the reject slots but back in the day I used to find a lot of cool coins in them including wheats, foreign coins and the occasional silver dime.

 

No doubt your searching your own dumps, this is what I was going through May, June, July this year except I was searching through anothe heavy hitters dumps. Dump in TZ area, his boxes have been producing very well as of late.

Hit up the different supplier you have, up the orders on the Loomis boxes. Loomis around here has been OK as of late. Nothing killer but not nearly as many skunks as I had earlier in the year. When heavy hitters stop polluting my supply so badly, it's actually fun searching half dollars again.

My last 10 boxes of Loomis have given up 1 40%er after that great start.

Nah, TZ dumps with lots of painted coin. I'm guessing the Jerz casino's use Loomis. He's said many times he dumps $12k a week there. I'll probably grind through another month of Loomis before I cut 'em off and switch back to all Garda. Trying to work something out still where I can dump into Loomis.

 

Can you dump at the Casinos like TZ or does it not make sense for you. He must have alot of capital to work with.

Hit up 3 banks on lunch break, no loose or CWR halves, then at the last bank where I was to pick up two boxes of halves, there was a long line so I got a cup of coffee waited as long as I could then had to take off with no coins. I'll have to pick them up tomorrow, oh well.

So far today One box from Brinks Skunk, Nothing newer than 2000 and most are 71 -96 Then this afternoon I did a box of Loomis Skunk again Same deal all older coins for some reason. maybe they are all dumps after the silver frenzy back in the 90's or 80's or when ever it was, LOL

 

Dumped my skunked box of halves on my lunch. When the manager was switching out the bags I saw three white rims lined up and shining through the bag. I asked if it was possible to switch out 3 of mine for those 3, and she said she already sealed up the bag. I said I had to ask and she suddenly changed her mind and said Merry Christmas. I was chattin' a little with her before this, so maybe it was my charm Whatever it was, that was very kind of her...40%x3 (65',66',67'). This makes up for the Skunk that I was dumping. Made my day
